Clint Murray

Clint Murray
Senior Vice President

Clint joins Glendora Capital with nearly a decade of experience in investment analysis, fundamental research, and credit underwriting across public and private markets. Most recently, he served as an Investment Analyst at Hovde Capital Advisors, a long/short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for bottom-up research coverage across financial services, technology, oil and gas, and consumer sectors. In that role, he built and maintained detailed financial models, conducted extensive due diligence leveraging management calls, industry expert networks, and regulatory filings, and developed trade recommendations that directly informed portfolio allocation decisions.

Prior to Hovde, Clint spent over four years at Sunwest Bank, a $4 billion private commercial bank, where he underwrote and structured C&I and commercial real estate credit facilities ranging from $500 thousand to $40 million. Working closely with business owners and sponsors, he evaluated cash flows, collateral, and market dynamics to inform credit decisions and presented directly to the Credit Committee and Board of Directors. This experience cultivating relationships with owner-operators and institutional sponsors, combined with a deep comfort in assessing business quality and risk, positions him well for Glendora’s focus on sourcing and acquiring privately held businesses.

Clint began his career in the University Growth Fund, one of the largest student-run private equity funds in the country, where he contributed to growth equity investment diligence across the technology and healthcare sectors, including a successful investment in Spotify’s Series G round that yielded a 3x return upon IPO.
